Abstract

In an era dominated by vast amounts of data, the integration of Business Intelligence (BI) with Big Data analytics has become pivotal for real-time decision support systems (DSS). This paper explores various integrative approaches that enhance decision-making processes by leveraging the capabilities of BI tools and Big Data technologies. We review the theoretical frameworks and practical applications that enable organizations to transform large datasets into actionable insights with speed and accuracy. Key challenges such as data quality, system integration, and information security are discussed, along with the strategies to mitigate them. The paper also highlights case studies from industries such as finance, healthcare, and retail, illustrating the benefits and complexities of implementing BI and Big Data systems. This synthesis of current knowledge aims to provide a comprehensive overview for organizations looking to enhance their decision-making processes through these advanced technological tools.
